What stage are you at with your challenge?
Here’s a video that’s just over 2 minutes long which may help you if you’re experiencing a challenge which has gone on for a while…

Which chapter are you at in relation to your challenge?
You could be in Chapter 1: feeling helpless; thinking that it isn’t your fault; and finding that it takes forever to get out.
You could be in Chapter 2: you can’t believe you’re still in the same place you’ve been in for a while – stuck in a repeating pattern or cycle. But you still feel it’s not your fault.
You could be in Chapter 3: you fall back into the same patterns, fall into the same situation – but you realise that you are responsible: you are contributing to the situation.
You could be in Chapter 4: you have strategies to overcome an issue or problem as it arises.
Or Chapter 5: you have grown and moved on. You may be here with many issues that you’ve had in the past.
Wherever you are, if you’re ready to move forward, you’ll find a solution.

The poem I read in this video, Autobiography in 5 short chapters, comes from the book There’s A Hole In My Sidewalk: The Romance of Self-Discovery by Portia Nelson, a singer, songwriter, author, and actress who appeared in The Sound Of Music, Doctor Dolittle (1967), and other films. She died in 2001. The poem is (c) Beyond Worlds Publishing.
